Okay, okay, so we lost to Germany and that sucks. Big time. Time to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and move on!
To bounce back from this disappointment, we’ll be cheering on Team Canada tomorrow as they face off against the Czech Republic for the bronze medal. Our doors will open at 6:45am (rise and shine!) and we’ll be screening the game on our ample fleet of flatscreens (puck drop is at 7:10am).
That’s not all! Thanks to our pal Mayor John Tory and the City of Toronto, we’ve been granted special permission to serve booze in these wee early hours. The best part: $3.50 LC lager all morning! After all, beer is the breakfast of champions bronze medal winners.
So whether we’re celebrating our consolation prize, or drowning our sorrows in cheap beer, just remember: we’re in this together. Let’s go, Team Canada!
